Professional Development

The Museum at Eldridge Street offers professional learning programs and is a CTLE-certified provider. Participation in teacher professional development workshops and online PD for teachers is applicable to maintaining professional certification from the New York City Department of Education.

Our workshops provide content knowledge and practical strategies for engaging students with immigration and American history, including primary source documents. Through presentations with experienced educators, guided tours, and hands-on activities, these workshops introduce teachers to the Museum at Eldridge Street’s history and related themes. Professional development workshops are recommended for educators who work with elementary, middle, and high school students.

Check our events calendar for the latest professional development event.
