We offer both academic year and summer internship programs for university students. College- and graduate-level student interns learn about Museum practice and gain professional skills in a variety of fields, including public programming, nonprofit management, education, fundraising, communications, and archives.

Volunteer at the Musuem
The Museum at Eldridge Street’s docent program has over 50 participants who undergo a 5-week training process, and are responsible for the daily tours at the museum. These tours cover everything from the building’s history to Jewish culture to architecture and design to 19th-century immigration.
We accept volunteer applications on a rolling basis. Inquire about this opportunity by emailing contact@eldridgestreet.org.
