IRA Distribution

If you are over 70 ½, you can contribute up to $100,000 directly to the Museum from your IRA without paying income taxes on the distribution. This is known as a qualified charitable distribution and offers a great way to easily make a donation. For those who are over 73 years of age, your gift counts toward your required minimum distribution for the year.

Donation of Appreciated Securities

Read More

When you donate long term appreciated assets directly to the Museum, instead of liquidating the asset and donating the proceeds, you can maximize your tax benefit and the overall amount of your donation.
