Yale Strom and Hot Pstromi – Klezmer Concert

October 29 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Yale Strom and his klezmer band Hot Pstromi will celebrate the enduring significance of klezmer music, filling the sanctuary with traditional music of Eastern European Jews as well as music that mixes in influences from jazz and 20th-century classical music. In celebration of the Museum at Eldridge Street’s role as a world-class institution for the past, present and future of Yiddish culture, we are proud to present a day of film and music.

At 12, 1 (sold out) and 2 pm (sold out) the Museum will also offer screenings of Yale Strom’s film “A Great Day on Eldridge Street” documenting a gathering of 100 musicians on the steps of the Eldridge Street Synagogue.

Due to popular demand, we’ve added an additional film screening at 12 pm! The 1 and 2 pm screenings have sold out, but limited space is still available for the screening at 12 pm. To reserve a spot for 12 pm, email hgriff@eldridgestreet.org.
