Adult Ed: Deuteronomy: One God, One People, One Sanctuary, One Land III
December 15, 2022 @ 11:00 am – 12:00 pm

Adult Education Zoom Series with Dr. Regina Stein
Deuteronomy is unique among the 5 books of the Torah. We will continue our study by focusing on the Sh’ma prayer and its significance. We will then analyze some of the laws introduced by Deuteronomy along with the book’s understanding of Israelite history, Israelite worship, the roles of national leaders, and the moral challenges of rules that were to guide their covenantal relationship with God and their conquest of the land of Israel.
New students are always welcome. All texts will be provided in English and Hebrew. No previous knowledge of either Hebrew language or Tanach (Hebrew Bible) is required.
Thursdays 11:00am-12:00pm
