Our Preservation Detectives family tour uncovers the story of the 1887 Eldridge Street Synagogue and explores the history of immigrant life on the Lower East Side. Discover clues about 19th century life and religious practice in the synagogue’s floorboards, murals, and brilliant stained-glass windows.

Tours focus on a different theme each month and include conversations and art activities inspired by participants' discoveries and the history and architecture of the synagogue.
