FUTURE PROJECTS

The final phase of the Synagogue restoration is predominately aesthetic. This work will repair and reintroduce the Synagogue's original, gorgeous stained glass, restore the building's historic paint finishes, and repair and re-install key elements, including a grand, central chandelier, exterior rooftop finials, and the sanctuary's original wooden pews. This is the work to which all involved in the restoration of this magnificent landmark have been most anticipating, and for which the Eldridge Street Project is currently raising funds.
