The restored Rose Window in the Eldridge Street SynagogueRESTORATION

Restoration Philosophy
The Eldridge Street Project is restoring the Eldridge Street Synagogue to its original grandeur while preserving traces of its century-long existence.

Work Accomplished
When the Eldridge Street Project was formed in 1986 it was charged with the task of rescuing the historic building from a state of near collapse. Had it not been for the intervention of the Eldridge Street Project, the Synagogue would not be standing today.
