The Eldridge Street Project
is part of a 15-member consortium of museums located south of Canal Street, known
as the Museums
of Lower Manhattan. The
consortium comprises the Castle Clinton National Monument, Federal Hall National
Monument, Fraunces Tavern Museum, Lower East Side Tenement Museum, Museum of American
Financial History, Museum of Chinese in the Americas, Museum of Jewish Heritage/A
Living Memorial to the Holocaust, National Museum of the American Indian, New
York City Fire Museum, New York City Police Museum, Skyscraper Museum, South Street
Seaport Museum, St. Paul's Chapel, and the Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island Immigration
Museum.
